What New For 2019

For 2019, The Mercedes C300 styling changes include redesigned front and rear bumpers designed to make the car look more Luxury, plus standard LED headlamps and taillamps. The car gets Benz’s Intelligent Drive assistance features introduced on the E-Class (so the C can now drive semi-autonomously), plus a new steering wheel design with touch-control buttons. There’s also an optional 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display, but not the side-by-side dual displays found in the E-Class and S-Class. Other options include heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, panorama roof and head-up display.

Inside, there’s a new vehicle key, a fresh start button and a new multifunction steering wheel with little touchpads that control the infotainment system. There are two different options each for the gauge cluster and infotainment display. An actual gauge cluster with a 5.5-inch information display is standard, but a 12.3-inch screen cluster is optional. The standard display is 7.0 inches, but buyers can opt for a larger 10.25-inch display, neither of which are touch-capable.

Power & Engine Options

The 2019 Mercedes C300 will use new 2.0-liter turbo-four. Torque remains 273 lb-ft. But The base C300 receives a slightly perkier 2.0-liter I-4 gas engine. The output is up to 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, a power bump of 14 hp over the outgoing model’s four-banger. A nine-speed automatic is standard, as is rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available.
